STEP 1

Load Preforms — Press Start

Operator places 2 heated preforms into the mold station, presses the green start button. The machine handles the rest automatically.

Blow & Open Mold

Machine closes mold, stretches rod, pre-blows then high-pressure blows. Mold opens automatically — 2 bottles per cycle.

What is the output of the SW-2000-2 semi automatic PET blow molding machine? +

The SW-2000-2 produces up to 1,000 bottles per hour in 2-cavity mode for bottles up to 2L. In single-cavity mode it handles bottles up to 3L at approximately 500 BPH.

Output depends on bottle shape, preform weight and operator loading speed. Sailwin can provide a demo video for your specific bottle type on request.

What bottle sizes can the SW-2000-2 produce? +

The SW-2000-2 handles 0.1L to 2L in 2-cavity mode, and up to 3L in 1-cavity mode. Maximum container height 260mm, diameter 100mm, neck diameter 15–38mm.

Compatible with PCO1810, PCO1881 and most standard necks. Custom mold designs are accepted — send us your bottle drawing for a mold quotation.

How many operators does the SW-2000-2 require? +

One operator is sufficient. The operator heats preforms in the oven, loads them into the mold station and presses start. The machine handles mold closing, stretching, pre-blowing and high-pressure blowing automatically.

A second operator speeds up output on high-volume shifts. Full operation training is provided with each machine delivery.

What air compressor is needed for the SW-2000-2? +

You need a compressor capable of 25–30 Bar blowing pressure with minimum 1.2 m³/min flow rate. Low-pressure working air (8–10 Bar) handles mechanical movements.

An air dryer is strongly recommended to prevent moisture from entering the blowing valve and contaminating bottles. Sailwin can source a compatible compressor package on request.

How long does mold changeover take on the SW-2000-2? +

An experienced operator completes a mold change in under 30 minutes using standard hex tools. The SW-2000-2 uses a standard mold plate compatible with most 2-cavity aluminum molds.

Sailwin provides a mold change guide with each machine. If you run multiple bottle types, Sailwin recommends ordering a dedicated mold per SKU for fastest changeover.

What is the difference between the SW-2000-2 and a fully automatic PET blow molding machine? +

The SW-2000-2 is semi-automatic: operators manually load preforms. A fully automatic machine such as the SW-F2-650 uses an automatic preform loader and produces 2,800 BPH without manual intervention.

The SW-2000-2 costs significantly less and suits lower-volume production or specialty bottle shapes. It is the ideal starting point for new bottle producers before scaling to a fully automatic line.

Does the SW-2000-2 come with CE certification? +

Yes. The SW-2000-2 is CE certified and meets EU machinery safety directives. Sailwin provides the CE declaration of conformity and user manual in English with each machine.

The machine also complies with ISO 9001 quality management standards. Inspection reports and factory test videos are available before shipment on request.
